VICTORIA BRANCH BALLOT PAPER ERROR
It has come to my attention that a typographical error has occurred on the Divisional Victoria Branch ballot paper (the green ballot paper) in the section for the Office of Divisional Branch Assistant Secretary/s.
Specifically, a candidate’s first name was incorrect.
New ballot papers will be posted to eligible voters for the Branch Assistant Secretary/s positions.
Members are advised of the error and that the green coloured Victoria Branch ballot paper shall REMAIN valid for the election of the Divisional Branch Secretary and Divisional Branch Deputy Secretary.
A similar error occurred on the National Office ballot paper (see Special Bulletin regarding the National Office ballot, published on Saturday 29 April).
The new closing date for ALL ballot papers to be posted back to the MUA's Divisional National Returning Officer is now 21 June 2023.
This provides an additional 7 days for members to vote in the Quadrennial Elections.
