Consultation code of practice

This code of practice from Safe Work Australia sets out in plain language the consultation requirements under Australian law. Consultation is not just good practice - it is a mandatory legal obligation. Employers are required to consult workers and HSRs about issues which may affect their safety. 

Code of practice for how to manage safety in the workplace

This code tells employers how to manage safety. When is a risk assessment required? What controls should be put in place? This code from Safe Work Australia spells out the obligations and is very useful for HSRs and delegates in taking up disputes about safety.
