Singapore grab for Mermaid Marine30 August 2002
SINGAPORE container terminal operator PSA Corp has acquired a 20 per cent stake in Australian offshore vessels operator Mermaid Marine, Fairplay magazine reports But the "conditional agreement" is still to get approval from Mermaid's shareholders and Australia's Foreign Investment Review Board. Some 23.4 million Mermaid new shares are listed for PSA Marine for a total A$7.04 million. SIngapore also has options on a further 6 million shares. "This partnership expands our service offering and our scope of operations," PSA Marine MD V. Sivarajan, told Fairplay
