Greg Harvey: Courage and Character

His death was announced at ACTU Congress today. National Secretary Paddy Crumlin addressed the Congress, paying tribute to Greg's union work and his support of the Transport workers union alliance with TWU MUA and RTBU. The national secretary extended the MUA's condolences to Greg's family and union. Congress stood for one minute's silence.

"Greg, was fighting cancer for some time," National Secretary Paddy Crumlin said in a circular to councillors. 
 "He faced his illness with great courage and character. He was an inspiration to all who worked with him and knew him."

The officers, staff and members pass on our deepest sympathies and condolences to his wife Liz and his family and the officers, staff and members of the RTBU.
