Aussie Resources, Local Jobs
Make sure the resource boom benefits Australian workers - not corporate giants!
Say no to Chevron using foreign labour instead of Australians!
Rally with the MUA:
Tues 29th November, 12noon, The Esplanade - Perth Foreshore
Brothers and Sisters of the MUA and all other trade unionists:
I appeal to you all to come along to the Protest and Rally:
Tues 29th November, 12noon, The Esplanade - Perth Foreshore
All members, family and friends are encouraged to attend.
We need to all understand what Chevron and other multi-national companies are doing in this country - they are profiting from our resources, but not sharing the wealth through local job creation.
We have great concerns about the future of all young Australians and their families. Chevron MUST employ and train young Australians on these massive Resource projects.
We demand that there is a future for the manufacturing industry in Australia, and Chevron commit to more local content in this country.
Local content does NOT finish at the wharf, and all Australian seafarers have a right to jobs in their own country.
March alongside us and call for local jobs from the resource boom.
For more information, ring the MUA on 9335 0500.
March with the MUA be there to support your jobs, your children's jobs and your UNION, united we stand.
In struggle
