ITF President push for Seafarers' Bill of Rights

The ITF president and MUA national secretary was special guest speaker at the All Japan Seamen's Congress in Tokyo yesterday, urging JSU to lobby the Japanese govt to adopt the ILO super convention.

Other issues Paddy Crumlin covered in his speech were the joint JSU/ITF/MUA campaign against German rougue ship owner Leonhardt & Blumberg, piracy, the criminalisation of seafarers, protection and extension of domestic maritime cabotage.
