I have been a member of the SUA/MUA since 1991, working in most parts of the seagoing industry and briefly as a supplementary wharfie.

If elected, the knowledge gained as a rank and file member, ship's delegate, honorary official and national councillor will help in establishing an effective branch executive and committee to assist in the running of the branch and its activities.

I give a commitment to be accountable, to listen, communicate, follow union policy, to work for and with the membership in the effective running of a fully transparent branch.

It's time for change
