The Maritime Union of Australia is seeking an efficient and experienced Personal Assistant to support a National Official of the Union and his team, on a 10-month contract with an immediate start.
Based in National Office in Sydney, the successful applicant will be experienced in:
diary, communications and information management
travel arrangements (national and international)
supporting an often geographically-diverse team
organising team meetings and following-up action plans
organising logistics for National EBA meetings
maintaining and collating versions and track changes to large documents
researching and updating website content
Applicants must possess no less than 5 years' experience supporting a team, and demonstrate an ability to balance priorities.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Your attention to detail, advanced computer literacy, adaptability and flexibility will be the basis upon which expected outputs are delivered in a timely manner.
Your experience will demonstrate a proactive and organised approach to your responsibilities, with a sound work ethic and an ability to prioritise and plan in a busy office environment.
