Vale Ron Barclay: Union to his bootstraps

Ron Barclay, former union official, passed away on 19 September 2009 peacefully in his sleep at age 88 years.  

Ron was a compassionate and hard working unionist and official.  

"Ron was a long standing and respected official of the union" - Paddy Crumlin, MUA.

"He was the first official that I worked with for a short period of time before his retirement and he was a great teacher of union principles and a true gentleman to boot." Lynne Holland, SA Branch

His funeral will be  Wednesday 30.9.09 at 1.00pm at the Enfield Crematorium.  

There are no flowers by request and donations to Cancer Council and Heart Foundation.
