Maritime union bans on Dutch arms to Indonesia featuring at the Sydney Film Festival!

INDONESIA CALLING: JORIS IVENS IN AUSTRALIA 

will screen at Events Cinema, George Street, Sydney 

Thursday 3 June at 6.00pm  

Soon after the end of the Pacific War, internationally renowned Dutch filmmaker, Joris Ivens, made INDONESIA 

CALLING - a film shot in Australia that supported Indonesian independence and documented Australian, Indonesian, Indian and Chinese trade unions defending the newly proclaimed Republic of Indonesia.

The Maritime Union is sponsoring a get together after the screening at the ArtHouse
