International Workers Memorial Day

Come along to commemorate this important global day when we remember those who have lost their lives due to workplace injury and death.

The service is supported by VOID (Voice of Industrial Death), SA Unions, Pilgrim Church, the Heads of Christian Churches, the SA Council of Churches, SafeWork SA, the Asbestos Victims Association and the Asbestos Diseases Society of SA.

Everyone is welcome to attend this service regardless of religion or beliefs, and are invited to bring some personal items or photos of their loved ones for a memorial display.

The service will feature a candle-lighting ceremony, a symbolic dove release and a memorial balloon release at its conclusion.

Refreshments will be served afterwards in the hall adjoining the church.
